What is OLIVO soap made of?
Olive oil soap bases with real ingredients folded in: saffron threads, pure honey, ground coffee, dried mint, black seed, aloe and more. Each product page lists what goes into that bar, and the full lists live on the ingredients page.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Our soaps are made to be gentle and we avoid anything harsh. Still, natural does not mean allergy-free. Try any new bar on a small patch of skin and wait a day before regular use. If your skin has a diagnosed condition, ask your doctor first, soap is a cosmetic, not a treatment.
How strong are the scents?
Gentle. These are natural bars, not perfume products. Frankincense and coffee are the most present, rose and musk sit closer to the skin, and pure olive is nearly scent-free.
How do I place an order?
Two ways. Add soaps to the basket on this site and confirm, which opens WhatsApp with your order written out for you. Or simply message us on WhatsApp at 052 800 2290 and tell us what you would like.
How do I pay?
Cash on delivery. You pay when your soap arrives, in dirhams, to the courier. No card details, no apps.
Where do you deliver, and how long does it take?
Across the UAE: AED 30 inside Abu Dhabi and AED 50 for the other emirates, or pick up from us in Abu Dhabi by arrangement. Abu Dhabi orders usually arrive fastest since that is home; timing is confirmed when we reply.
Can I order custom or bulk quantities?
Yes, that is our favourite kind of order. Wedding and event favours, corporate gifts, bulk classics. Use the quote form on the gifts page and give us a little lead time.
How long do special designs take?
Sculpted pieces like the grape bunch and the rose cluster are made on request and need 24 to 48 hours before delivery or collection.
How should I store the soap?
Dry, ventilated, and away from heat. Keep the bar out of standing water between uses, on a draining dish if you have one, and never in direct sun or a hot car. Unused bars keep well in a drawer, where they will quietly perfume your clothes.
What if the soap I want is sold out?
It stays visible on the shop page with a sold-out badge. Press "Request this soap" and WhatsApp will open with the question already typed, we will tell you when the next batch is poured.
Can I gift-wrap single bars?
Yes. Any bar can go into an organza bag with the OLIVO card. Mention it in your order note.
Where is OLIVO made?
In Abu Dhabi, by our family, in small batches. Made with love is on the card because it is literally the production method.
Why does handmade soap look different from store-bought soap?
Because every batch is handcrafted, colour, shape and pattern vary slightly from bar to bar. That is the nature of handmade soap, not a fault.
Why does my soap get smaller or softer over time?
Handmade soap is rich in natural moisturising ingredients, so it is softer than factory soap. Keep it dry between uses, on a draining dish away from water, and it will hold its shape far longer.
How long does one bar last?
Typically 3 to 5 weeks, depending on how often it is used and how dry it is kept between uses.
