Slowly, and by hand

How it's made

There is no machine in this story. Just careful hands, good ingredients, and moulds we have grown attached to.

Choosing the base

Every bar starts from an olive oil soap base. It is what gives OLIVO soaps their gentle, moisturising feel.

Adding the real thing

Saffron threads, pure honey, ground coffee, dried mint, black seeds. The ingredient on the label goes into the pot, visibly.

Pouring into moulds

Roses, hearts, carved squares, honeycomb ovals with bees. For massage bars, a natural loofah is set inside before the pour.

Setting and unmoulding

The soap rests until it is firm and glossy, then each piece is unmoulded and checked by hand.

Wrapping and delivering

Bars are wrapped, gift orders are bagged in organza and tied, and everything travels across the UAE with cash on delivery.

Make your bar last

Handmade soap is softer than supermarket soap because nothing harsh is added to extend it. Keep the bar dry between uses, ideally on a draining dish away from the shower stream, and keep it away from heat and direct sun. It will thank you by lasting weeks longer.

One more honest note: colours vary slightly from batch to batch, because the ingredients are real. We think that is part of the charm.
